Mega documentaire: The reality of me

The reality of me (TROM documentary) is uniek en je kunt als je wilt uren rondkijken op de TROM website. Daar staat het leven op aarde met al haar systemen zoals economisch maar ook wetenschap uitgelegd en hoe dat effect heeft op het indiviuele leven. Op de TROM website legt men het project als volgt zelf uit:

The TROM documentary is trying to present, in a simplistic way, the world in which we, human beings, live. The world discovered so far, not some idea or personal choice. Moreover we tried to present alternative solutions to current problems and took into account the future, which promises to be more than interesting. An informative documentary, perhaps shocking and disturbing to many, depending on how you digest the information. The documentary is divided into chapters and sub-chapters due to documentary's excessive length (12 hours). Also all the parts are connected.

Think about this: for many years the whole population of the planet has known that we are on a huge sphere, among many other such ''shapes'', in a vast universe. They also know something else: we are part of the same species. So why do we have nationalities, racism, religions and countries; why such artificial barriers? This shows that people have forgotten one very important thing: how to extract meaning from that data, which is verifiable. It is not enough to know, we need to understand. 

De evolutie van alles dus je kunt op de website van TROM in delen de evolutie van het monetaire stelsel, de wetenschap, onderwijs, politiek  enzovoort, enzovoort bekijken. Genoeg food for thought is daar dus te vinden. 

Dus voor een weekend waarin je even dieper wilt nadenken over ons bestaan is wellicht de TROM website wel een plek om eens te beginnen. Online wordt de documentaire in ieder geval beschreven als uniek. Ik heb nog niet de tijd gehad om hem helemaal te kijken maar het is zeker interessant. Voor trendwatchers is het ook zeker interessant om het je weer andere inzichten geeft en je ontwikkelingen anders kunt plaatsen. Dat is nu ook juist zo leuk van het vak trendwatching.
