The consumer develops himself very quickly, especially when it comes to his attitude towards organisations and governments. This development, together with the evolvement in communication and technology, makes that consumers will organize themselves to reach certain goals.
The new consumer finds ways to fulfill his wishes and needs differently. This could be done by heavier trading, lending or doing things himself. Consumers organize themselves extremely quickly to reach a specific goal, through their peer-groups but also through ad-hoc networks. By ‘co-suming’, consumers become even less dependent of organisations. The cooperative consumer is all about fast and temporarily networks of consumers to reach certain shared goals.
