Twingly, the 3d blogosphere
Twingly made a nice application which allows you to see all the postings in the Blogosphere in real-time.
The posts are showed by accumulating pillars on an elegantly rotating 3D globe. Post titles scroll by; click on any title to display the post and have the globe flip to the blog’s physical location. Again a nice example of the trend of tekst and the virtual world becoming more and more visual driven instead op text driven. The end of the virtual letters is definitely over and we will more and more communicate with visuals, video and search by images. The concept is like Buzztracker but twingly is 3d, real-time and for the blogosphere.
