Trillions, technology asks us to think different

Technological challenges. Most people who read this weblog will know that there are a lot of future challenges provided by technology. Many analists also believe that the future will bring big changes provided by technology.

The MAYA Institute believes that: "The computing industry has largely ignored the sea change that will occur when we near that trillion-node threshold. Our current devices employ technologies like relational databases and client/server models that were invented at least 20 years ago—models that will very soon be inadequate to confront the challenges of managing the quantity of information available in that very near future".
The challenges are not only for us humans but also for all corporations and organizations which want to be successful in the near future. We will see a rise of information when much more devices will be connected to the internet. For individuals information will be provides more context aware by mobile devices so the information overload will diminish.
The future demand of everyone to thing and act differently. That is something I also say during my presentations. Traditional thing will not solve the problems and see the challenges technology brings us. When you want to survive in a future where technology is just like the electricity of today you have to think and ext exponential.
