Space Diving
Space diving will be the new extreme sports in the future. Orbital Outfitters is now developing a space suite that makes it possible to make a space dive from the altitude of 120.000 foot.
Commercial space travel is not new. Virgin is planning to shoot 3.000 people into space the coming years. Orbital Outfitters is developing a space suite to enter the atmosphere alone. Not only for fun but also as a way to safely return to earth in case of emergency.
They aim for a 150-mile jump. With the speed of 2,500 mph the person will enter the atmosphere and then a small chute will open. If the speed has increased, a normal chute will open.
