SellaBand, part 2
Since the beginning on August 15th, Sell-a-band has already helped fund two artists. Where does SellaBand stand today?
Believers, you and me, can invest in an artists by buying parts (a part is $10). As soon as a Artist hits $50k, he or she is able to record an album. The concept of SellaBand is really working. The operation is funded by the interest earned on the money believers invest in artists. Again a concept that creates a win-win for all parties involved.
From the start, the concept went global. We see artists from all over the world participating. And the coaches that are involved in nurturing the artists are big names in the Music Industry. The concept is strong, because any artist launched already has a following of true believers! Record companies should be jumping with joy with the concept, but are they?
