Google Goggles: visual search with Google
Searching the internet is still not very easy. You get a lot of search results which do not match your query. Visual search can make all a lot easier.
Visual Search isn't new. Maybe you remember Like.com. This is a great visual search application of which I always said it will become hot in the near future. Like is still 'on the air' but still not used by many people. This is a bid disappointing for me. But maybe with the success of augmented reality is still can become a big hit.
Google is now also entering the arena of visual search applications and this can mean a boost for this kind of search. Google launches visual search with Google Goggle. With this you can use pictures to search for the right information on the web.
Google Goggle is only for phones with Android 1.6+.
