Interactive mirror in dressing room
Have troubles deciding what clothes to buy. Well in the future your friends will help you directly.
New technology will allow us in the very near future to ask the helping hand from our friends when we cannot decide whether to buy or not to buy clothing when we stand in front of a mirror in a dressing room in a busy shop. IconNicholson has created an interactive, "Magic Mirror" that is able to transmit images from the store floor to friends and family anywhere in the world. This via a website called Shoptogether.com. This services allows the connected friends to use the Magic Mirror for interactive session and are even able to search the store to find items that digitally appear on the mirror. Friends can also make comments to the shopper, which show up as a chat session on the mirror. IconNicholson even calls it a future trend named social retailing which is the expansion of social networking. Shoptogether.com is not yet live but will be soon. What do you think about this?
