De Verticopter is developed by Garrow Aircraft and is presented as a new revolution in vertical flight. Garrow states that this aircraft is "Simple, Safe and Solid" and it is made of carbon fiber composites. Two Rolls Royce 420 Hp engines supply the necessary power for vertical take of. Even without the engines the Vericopter can land safely because of its shape and the rotation of the propellers. The special designed landing gear will absorb the shock at the landing.
The Verticopter is 4 times faster than a conventional helicopter. The operational costs are much lower than the costs of a helicopter. Due to its clear view this plane is suitable for:
