One of the things which is most annoying to me is the everyday problem with parking a car in a city. So initiatives like Peasy.com and Spotscout are really the one I like most. Peasy is an online marketplace for parking spaces. It enables drivers to search and book parkingspaces before they leave home. And it also lets homeowners monetize unused parking spaces by adding them to the Peasy network. This because there has to be paid for a parking place so it is also appealing for the ones who have a parking place at home but don't use it during the day. For prime locations, spaces can go for as much as GBP 3,000 per year. So this is a nice extra income for homeowners with parkingspaces. Listing a parking space is free, and Peasy takes a commission fee of 12% for each rental transaction.

A similar initiative will also start in the United States and is called SpotScout.
