Deodr: fresh clothes without doing the laundry
Scenario Lab developed a 'fresh' idea if your clothes smell and you don't have a washing machine at hand.
The Deodr is a lampshade with a special photocatalytic light tube in combination with fan-induced convection. It removes unpleasant body odours and literally blows your clothes fresh! It doesn't use any water, so it's much more gentle on fabrics than washing it and more eco-friendly as well. The only thing it doesn't do is remove stains: if you get dirty, so must fall back on conventional washing. The fabric on the lampshade is necessary to create the airstream, you can adapt the fabric to your preferences. And because it's fabric, it's efficient to transport and brings down costs. Using the Deodr is very easy, just hang your clothes within the shade. The product was designed by Wu Kun-Chia and received a design concept award from Red Dot.
