De werknemer van de toekomst

What may we expect of the employee of the future? A very important question because of the several developments we see in the human resource market. We see the arise of a new workforce, workforce 2.0. A workforce of generations employees which embrace new technology and the collective intelligence principle. The old and inflexible organizations will have to work with these new workforce. But this is allmost impossible because of the large gap there is between the new and old worksforce. At least I think so. About this subject there was recently a very interesting article in the FD (in dutch). Employee 2.0.

TNO did a survey on the biggest challenges and changes the Dutch HR market and organizations face. Like I said is the biggest challenge the gap between workforce 1.0 and workforce 2.0. TNO sees the following develloments in the market of 2020. Will we have managers who want employees which are flexible and mobile and are excellent networkers. This is purely employe 2.0. So do we have also enterprise 2.0 in 2020 is what I ask to TNO?? Because the employe 2.0 cannot work in the enterprise 1.0. According to TNO 75 percent of all women will be working in 2020 and more and more women will have management position within organizations. I think we all know this trend!

An important trend is the arise of the social economy. We see the virtual world become social in 2005 - 2008 and in 2020 the fysical world is also social. The social economy is an economy in which everyone can participate. So also the people which have not great networking skills. How do you think the employe of the future will look like?
