De 3 dimensionale desktop

3d desktop has been around for some time but on Extendlimits we have never talked about it. But I thibk it is very interesting so here is the moment to show you a possible future of our desktop. The 3d desktop. The initiative in the movie is from the university of Toronto, Canada. The mission of the project is advanced research and graduate instruction in human-computer interaction and computer graphics. This possible future desktop is a cool idea and I am very curious how will will interact and work with information in a couple of years. The structured and technical way we structure data nowadays on the desktop is certain to disappear. Will the 3d desktop be the future. What do you think?
